It’s Monday morning, April 27th, 2009. We live in a high-rise in Tribeca (facing Ground Zero). At around 10 am, we were very startled to look out our window and see a huge plane flying by, followed by a military jet. My husband and I freaked out thinking it was a highjacking or a mechanical failure. It circled by at least 3 times, flying very close to our building. We noticed that people were evacuating out of their buildings into the street down below.Air Force One Backup Rattles New York Nerves

We just found out that it was a “photo shoot” between the FAA and the military (and that the bigger plane was Air Force One?) I think it’s very insensitive and cruel that they didn’t give New Yorkers the heads up about this so-called photo shoot. A lot of people in lower Manhattan, including my husband, are still traumatized by 9/11! From reading the blogs, a lot of people are furious, including us! I almost had a heart attack seeing the plane circling towards our building!Didn’t they think of using PHOTO-SHOP? Something doesn’t add up here.
